yohohohoho people
to the sec1s about achievement day.1st all is that Ms Ong ain't lying when she says that sec1s are usually not allowed,in fact i didnt even know the existence of achievement day until i was sec2.Did u guys even notice that the sec1s from band were in fact not performing in today's rehersal. So be serious when ur suppose to,like during rehersals, when Ms ong is trying to teach dance steps.Sometimes u guys can have fun,but remember, times to be serious and times to have fun is different.
Another thing is listen to your seniors,I don't care whether u are the child of bill gates or Obama don't you talk talk back to them, especially when they are telling u ur mistakes,or trying to correct anything, unless u are telling me u absolutely correct however thats probably not the case almost all the time.
U guys might think that we shouldn't have abit of extra practicing,u might think its pointless but,let me ask YOU.
Are you good enough? If yes then continue to be better
Do you practice at home?None of u do this
Do you think you are very good?wake up sec1s,u don't even know what is good
Last of all,if any of you think Ms Ong is not good, come and find me,I'll deal with u.You never put yourself in her shoes, you dont even have the slightest idea how is it like for her.If i hear anyone of you badmouthing her, you'll get it from me
You guys better show me improvement next practice, you guys don't have much time left,i'm thinking of extra practices if u guys dont do well.Don't whin if u guys need to have extra practice,i ask again,u think u are good enough?
Prove to Mr Chin that he is dead wrong today, prove to the chairman of the school we are worth the school's money.
PROVE TO THEM THAT WE ARE NOT SOME USELESS CCA.
Ps:14 days to achievement day is very short, don't think we have time

Hello AI choristers!Choristers, I understand that you people are tired. Getting scoldings almost all the practices doesn't make anyone of us feeling happy. When you think you are tired, everyone are tired. Miss Ong, Committee members, we are all tired. But we are all still standing strong and do what we can. So why not we put in more effort into singing. This schedule for our practices are not tiring at all. Last year, Syf yea, Cantare II, those times, the practices are tight. But didn't we all survive and enjoy every moment of it? Where did our passion for singing gone to? Where is "Sing from the Heart, Dream from the soul" go? Didn't everyone carry that passion and vision to Choir? If you have lost them, let's work hard together and find them back. (: As we are a choir, not an individual. So, let's all work hard together! Sec 1s, if you guys are not interested in joining the achievement day performance, its fine with us. You guys are really fortunate, cause u can ask your seniors. None of them are allowed to perform in achievement day when they are sec1, even if there is, only one or two. So you people are given the opportunity, cherish them. Every performance you have here in aichoir, is an opportunity for you. So let's all work hard together. :DFrom,Nicole. :)Labels: practice comments

Yohohohoho people
Seriously, our progress is like so slow.
If u think we can make it for achievement day at
this rate,I don't think so.Have a sense of urgency
people.Also,if u guys don't do well,u will only get
a scolding,u guys dont know what ur Sectional
Leaders are getting,be fair to them.
And to many of u,u think practice is boring, tiring
,and not happy cause there is practice. Then all i
can say is stop whining and think.u guys
dont do well,of course practice will be boring,
repeating the same thing again again and again.
Most of us aren't even breathing a word about tired,
even when we are more tired and worried and
wrecking our brains about what to do,so stop whining
at the slightest bit.
DON'T DISAPPOINT MS ONG,SERIOUSLY.
p.s:i would have beaten some sense into many of
u guys if i was allowed.
P.P.S:please do not change anything about this post
Hiroshi

Comments on today's rehearsal
Friday, November 14, 2008 / 1:13 PM
Hey people ;
I know you guys had enough of lectures today, so I will spare you from the agony.
Just wanna say a few words and then I will move on to the reminders. :)
Okay, you must always, ALWAYS calm down whenever you meet any difficulty/confusion/trouble.
You are not being helpful to the situation if you are there screaming and arguing.
Just STAY CALM and COOL DOWN so that you can think properly.
NEVER ARGUE BACK when seniors give you directions/instructions.
The seniors know what to do and are there to help you.
So please, stay coooooooooool. :]
e.g. Today during the WSS musical, the Jet & Shark girls don't know where to assemble backstage.
Please don't snap or argue at the seniors. It is very DISRESPECTFUL and HURTING.
No one will appreciate it if you make so much "noise". :/
Okay, now we will move on to the next entry for reminders. >:]

New URL + Regarding the dance lesson today...
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 / 8:34 PM
Hello everyone! :)I've changed this blog's URL...
But don't worry, you can still access this blog via musical-pencils@bs. :)
Anyway, today's dance lesson was pretty enjoyable, although there were smiles and frowns around.
Those who are still unhappy with the dance steps, cheer up! (
like me ). :P
We can clarify our doubts tomorrow and maybe Ms Ong can show us the dance steps.
Please practise at home!
As the saying goes, "
practice makes perfect".
You are never too good, so continue to do your best! :D
Overall, our performance today was good, but there's still room for improvement.
Was kinda disappointed that there wasn't full attendance today, though. :(
Okay, that's all for comments today. :)
p/s Why am I the only "regular blogger" around? I didn't even have the time to update my own blog. =( Those who have the password please come and type something! Thanks! :D
p/p/s I'm so pissed by the band's attitude yesterday. This shows how much discipline choir has compared to those {
insert a relevant noun here (up to your imagination)}. >:(
p/p/p/s For once, there's something I feel happy about! Some of you find this blog skin
nice (weird, they cannot find another adjective to substitute "nice"). These tags really lighten up my day despite being after the tedious choir practices. ;)
Oh ya, good luck for your dance audition tomorrow! :P

Comments on 30/10's practice
Thursday, October 30, 2008 / 11:40 PM
hello everyone! :)
I'm here to update. (
duh )
Anyway, this week's discipline is not as good so hope that you guys can cooperate more...
Talk less, learn and improve more, okay? ^^
Anyway, gonna comment on each section.
For
tenor and bass, well, you guys did a great job today! :P
*applause*You guys sure have improved a lot!
Hope that you guys can maintain your standard
and don't let Ze Huan distract you (when he comes back). =.=
For
altos, I feel that you guys can blend really well together
and the quality of your voices are better than the sops (no offence, sops :X).
Don't feel depressed just because you guys are fewer in number.
Everyone is important in the section so just try to project as loud as you can.
Don't be afraid that you will sing out of tune. :)
You guys can do it! :D
For
soprano...
Hee hee.
LECTURE TIME. >:]
Why are we going so
sharp all the time, eh?
Hmm, I guess we have to "
anchor" our notes more. =(
And please take note of all the
dynamics like where to crescendo, which notes should go
piano or
forte and also, which notes to emphasize on.
However, I love your enthusiasm and your confidence when you guys sing during combine. =D
Though we met some difficulties during sectionals,
we still sang rather well during combine.
Jia you , people! :D
oh, by the way,
7 MORE PRACTICES TO CANTARE II!!!hee hee, I put that in bold to scare you guys. >:]
Have fun singing!
Don't give up! :)
